These fibers are my exclusive February YOF colorway for Shop La Mercerie! I held these back after dyeing because the fiber had issues during milling, resulting in the top not being a tube of even thickness. Some sections are really thick, and others are really thin. But they are otherwise just fine, they will just spin up a touch different from their properly milled cousins! I included many photos/angles so you can hopefully appreciate their differences from a regular braid!

I recommend hand washing your yarn in cold water and a wool wash/neutral soap when blocking or washing your finished item and laying it flat to dry. As part of my dying process, I rinse the yarn until the water runs clear. However, on rare occasions, small amounts of excess dye may run into the water during the first couple of washings. If this happens, don't worry! This is excess dye and should not affect the coloring of your yarn or finished item. If you ever find a large amount of excess dye/bleeding with any of my yarns, please contact me so I can fix the problem for you!
